Why does my honey crystalize?
Natural raw honey tends to crystallize after some time. The water content, ratio of natural glucose to fructose, pollen particles and other items have an impact on how fast the honey will crystallize and each honey variety is different.
Can I pick up in person?
In-person pickups can be done. If you would like to pick up your order in person, make sure to select 1 of our two pickup locations during check-out. Order minimum for local pickup is $35.
Is honey all the same?
All honey is not the same. We carry 5 different honey varieties and they are all different. The honey variety is based on the type of flower the bees are able to extract the pollen from, this is dictated by the location of the beehives. Bees will gather pollen from flowers of up to two miles away, but if there is enough plants and flowers around them, they will stay closer to the hive.
The honey will have some variability even throughout the seasons, so not anyone batch of real pure raw honey will ever be exactly the same.
What makes your honey special?
What makes our honey special is that we are in close contact with our beekeepers and trust their honey production process to be clean, honest, and safe. This honey is never heated and minimally filtered to preserve as much of the natural essence from the hive as possible.
The Black Mangrove Honey is the most special of all due to where in Florida it is harvested. The honey is harvested from the Mosquito Lagoon region in Florida which contains the highest density of mangroves in the USA and therefore is the purest Black Mangrove Honey you will find.
Do you sell anything other than honey?
At the moment we only sell honey, but as we expand our shop we hope to bring other products.
